Our First Election

Hello Shareholders!
First, I want to invite the 2,329 of you that are on this list and not shareholders to go buy a share right now. It’s important, and it’s really going to matter soon. We’ve made it super easy: just click here. Shares are trading for under $7, and , assuming the market doesn’t tank, those that buy sooner will get slightly better prices than those who buy later.
Okay, let me grab my coffee so we can get on to the more exciting stuff.
Election for the Board of Directors
As you may remember, the shareholders agree that I need a board of directors, and that the make up of that board will have two shareholder representatives elected by you, the shareholders. That election is happening now!
There are five candidates running for the two positions and the process will involve three phases:
Opening statements and initial vote (this is happening now).
Candidates eliminate one of themselves and write a joint statement.
A live debate followed by the final vote.
Each phase is designed to replicate the skills and abilities of a good board member. They should be able to clearly communicate their vision and ideas for KmikeyM and operate with a shareholder mandate and they should be able to work together and make difficult choices.
This first phase ends on Sunday, so go now to ask questions and cast your ballot!
The Importance of the Board
These initial board members are really important. While the board offers me a resource I can turn to for private matters, these first few members will also help in designing the structure and nature of the board itself.
I created a page about the board called The Board of Directors which I’ll update as policies and the structure and nature of the board is defined. I’ve started to plan out the board seats and announced one of my appointments already. There will be up to twelve members but six of those will eventually be available to purchase.

I encourage you all to really push on the candidates. Ask them questions, demand answers, and make the case for who you want to see advance to the next round in the comments.
